Xbox and Bethesda Showcase Set for June 12

Xbox and Bethesda have announced that a summer showcase will air on June 12 at 10 a.m. Pacific / 1 p.m. Eastern / 6 p.m. UK (i.e. June 13 at 4 a.m. PT). Sydney).

This showcase will include upcoming games on Xbox and PC, as well as Xbox Game Pass. Currently, Xbox’s most anticipated game with a set release date is Starfield on November 11 – we’ll almost certainly see the first gameplay at the showcase, if it doesn’t come sooner. Arkane’s Redfall is also set to launch in 2022, so a release date could also be revealed.

Although Bethesda already announced The Elder Scrolls VI in 2018, it might be a while before we hear anything else about it. Since it was announced prior to Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda, we may receive confirmation of Xbox and PC exclusivity eventually. MachineGames announced last year that the studio was working on an Indiana Jones game, so more information about that might be posted as well.

One final possible reveal could be Deathloop’s inclusion in Xbox Game Pass later this year, when its timed PlayStation 5 exclusivity period expires. Of course, Bethesda may also announce new games in addition to those already mentioned above.

As for other Xbox first-party studios, Ninja Theory is hard at work on Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and Undead Labs is working on State of Decay 3. A Perfect Dark reboot is in development at The Initiative as well as a Fable reboot on at Playground Games, though they’re more likely to be further away from release. Obsidian is also working on Avowed. There hasn’t been much news about Rare’s Everwild lately. The last news heard was that it would have been revised.

Last year’s Xbox showcase saw reveals such as The Outer Worlds 2 and Forza Horizon 5.
