Three Resident Evil games are coming to next-gen consoles
Resident Evil fans will experience 3 relevant Resident Evil games like never before.
Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard will be coming to next-gen consoles with the introduction of the RE Engine, which will show us these three games like we’ve never seen them before thanks to ray tracing, high frame rates and 3D audio to enhance the immersion.
Additionally, PlayStation 5 players will be able to use DualSense for haptic feedback and adaptive triggers in all three titles. Enough to make the gaming experience of these three games, which have become legendary classics, one of the most beautiful horror and survival experiences of all time.

This is due to Capcom’s adaptation of the RE engine to modern times, resulting in games that look better than ever, using the advanced technology offered by next-gen platforms. The chilling horrors and gorgeous visuals of these fan-favorite titles will be relived by fans. For PC users, an update patch will be provided at no additional cost.
These three games have not yet received a release date, but Capcom has stated that they will arrive in 2022. Players who own Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3Where Resident Evil 7 Biohazard on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One are eligible for a free upgrade via the PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 digital or Xbox Smart Delivery upgrade option.
