The House Of The Dead: Remake is set to release on PS4, Xbox and PC on April 28

Potentially exciting news for gamers eager to get their hands on it House of the Dead: Remake. According to some eagle-eyed Redditors, a tweet shared by The Wiki of the Dead shows they discovered the information via Polish site Pap Biznes. It looks like the game will be coming to PC (Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia on April 28. The game will apparently be priced at 24.99 in USD and EUR.

This latest news comes after House of the Dead: Remake released earlier this month on the Nintendo Switch, which is an incredibly short window of time to port to other platforms. The game has so far received mixed to average reviews and currently has an average score of 56 on Metacritic. It seems that this is partly due in part to some nasty controller issues resulting from the gyroscopic functionality of the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons.

However, it’s fair to say that this is something that could possibly be fixed on more robust platforms such as the PS4 or Xbox One, so it will be interesting to see how this decision affects future reviews and comments.

House of the Dead: Remake is a true-to-original remaster in which players revisited the original story and the hordes of undead monsters that await them. Considered by many to be the original arcade zombie-shooter title, it clearly lived up to a lot of expectations. So while it seems to have been a little below the mark so far on the Nintendo Switch, the controller and performance issues may resolve somewhat on at least one of the newer platforms.

House of the Dead: Remake is currently available on the Nintendo Switch. Hopefully it will launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One next week.
