Bandai Namco will donate to charity for Ukraine

Bandai Namco has announced that it will donate 100 million yen (approximately $854,000) to the charity save the children in favor of Ukraine. According to its website, Save the Children provides humanitarian aid to Ukraine through services such as the provision of food, cash grants and therapy programs. Bandai Namco ended the statement hoping that peace would return as soon as possible.

Save the Children began operating in Ukraine in 2014 and has undertaken several projects to help children in crisis there. During the conflict with Russia, Save the Children worked with local organizations to distribute necessities.

Other companies that have donated to help Ukraine include Koei Tecmo Holdings and The Pokemon Company. Yoko Taro also announced that he would donate part of his merchandise sales to Ukraine. CD Projekt Red and 11 bit Studios also donated, while Necrosoft Games is hosting a charity package.

As for Bandai Namco’s games, its Ring of Elden recently surpassed 278,507 units, according to Famitsu. This number only represents PS4 and PS5 copies. Bandai Namco’s upcoming games include Gundam Evolution (which will be launched worldwide) and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R. All Star Battle R will be the console version of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle arcade game.
