Atlus looks set to bring another game to PC
Atlus has made some notoriously confusing decisions with surprising consistency over the years, much of which has come down to its refusal to release its acclaimed and requested games on additional platforms. Recently, however, things have started to change. Persona 4 Gold launched for PC via Steam last year and performed exceptionally well, after which Sega said it would look to similar versions for Atlus games on PC and other platforms in the future.
And it looks like another one of those might be coming soon. As recently spotted by Twitter user @regularpanties, Atlus recently added an unknown new game to their library on Steam. While previously this library had a collection of 13 games, it now displays that number at 14, suggesting that files have been added to the database for the release of a game that may be announced soon, possibly at Game Awards?
Of course, there are a lot of questions about what this game could be like, if that actually happens. Interestingly, an Atlus game simply called “Project Pen” recently received a rating rating, and as one Reddit user noted, that rating is about the same as for Persona 5 Royal, which makes him a likely candidate here.
Meanwhile, Atlus recently announced 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim for the Nintendo Switch, so it is possible that this will also happen on PC. Recent reports have also suggested that the Switch exclusive Shin Megami Tensei 5 will release, at some point, for PS4 and PC, although it may be too soon after the game’s launch for now for additional versions to be announced.
Either way, we’ll be keeping an eye out for any new details, so stay tuned for any updates.
moreover, the atlus steam page has been updated with -14- My games
